Pecha Kucha is a controlled creative convergence where architects, artists, musician, performers, idea activists and designers meet to showcase their work in a unique, high-energy format. Japanese for “chit-chat,” Pecha Kucha is the brainchild of Klein-Dytham Architecture of Tokyo; wired.com explains the events as a combination of “business meeting and poetry slam to transform corporate cliché into surprisingly compelling beat-the-clock performance art.” Since 2003, Pecha Kucha has spread to close to 300 cities across the world, including Austin.
